Kingdom Craft Alliance Exhibit Extends Dates!

Judy B. Dales from Greensboro has announced that the Kingdom Craft Alliance's State of Craft Exhibit in Greensboro earlier this month was so successful that it has been extended through the summer! That's great news!

So head on in to see the show at The Miller's Thumb, a historic building right in the center of Greensboro.

(look, there's someone going in right now!)

It will be open Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays 11-4 until Labor Day Weekend. The last day will be Monday, Labor Day.

Judy is the President of the Kingdom Craft Alliance, a group newly formed just this year. The group represents about 40 artists and art historians so far, and the exhibit includes a wide range of art including sculpture, painting, pottery, weaving, jewelry, glass, metal, wood and collage.

In addition, you will learn about the people involved in crafts in earlier times, personal statements from artists explaining how they were influenced or mentored by artists who preceded them, and a time-line of important events and movements that shaped the face of craft in northern Vermont.

To view other Special Events scheduled for the rest of this year, go to: State of Craft.
