The Vermont Crafts Council is hosting its'

19th Annual Open Studio Weekend
Saturday and Sunday, May 29 & 30, 10 am - 5pm

Artisans all over the state will have their doors open to welcome visitors! It's a great opportunity to get a look at the artists' studios and learn about their process.

SDA Vermont Members you can visit are:

Dianne Shullenberger Gallery at 228 Nashville Road in Jericho will show Dianne's layered fabric collages, Elizabeth Fram's art quilts, and Sandy Jefferis' sculptural vessels.

Judy Dales will show her art quilts at The Miller's Thumb Gallery in the center of Greensboro with four other Caspian Arts members. There will be a gala party celebration for the new gallery from 5pm-7pm - All are Welcome!

Althea Bilodeau will show her wearable fiber art at the Grange Hall in No. Chittenden with the seven other members of the North Chittenden Women's Art Collective.

The show will run August 6 through September 17, 2011
Opening Reception August 6, 2011, 5pm - 9pm
Artists' Walk-Through August 19, 7pm-8:30pm

All Vermont SDA Members are encouraged to submit their work!

Patricia Burleson will have an opening for her site specific commissioned banners for Holton Home during Brattleboro, VT Gallery Walk on Friday, May 6 from 5-7 p. m.

The Banners are hung in the stairwell of the new wing of the Holton Home, a home for the elderly, at 158 Western Avenue, Brattleboro , VT.

Holton Home exhibits other local artists and resident's work throughout the building. The banners are acrylic painting on canvas and measure 32" x 90"

Karen Henderson will be exhibiting several of her landscape inspired fiber pieces on the first floor at the Maltex Building, in the heart of Burlington's south end arts district.

Located at 431 Pine Street, Burlington, VT, Karen's work will be on view starting April 18, on through Seaba's Art Hop weekend of Sept 10 & 11, so try to visit if you're in the area!
