Help Vermonters affected by Irene: Please Participate in the Winter Warmth Project

Vermont SDA member Pam Druhen is launching a new endeavor to help our VT neighbors affected by tropical storm Irene.

"The Winter Warmth Project" has begun.

She is contacting Vermont Quilt Guilds, Shops, and individuals and asking for participation in the way of donating fabric, sewing time, quilt tops (twin and queen size), quilts, batting, and quilting labor.

The goal is to have a brand new quilt for every man, woman and child who lost their home and/or their personal belongings. The first distribution will be by Thanksgiving, the second by Christmas.

Here is the Blog, http://winterwarmthproject.wordpress.com/,

She will be a setting up a newsletter as well. Pam has already picked up one sponsor, and she's hoping to get more.

If you know of a business who would like to help sponsor, please get in touch with Pam.
If you would like to donate materials or your time, please get in touch with her.
Visit the Blog for all details.

Please pass this along to anyone you know who might be interested in this project, or who could pass it to others.
