November News

Greetings!

The first international juried exhibition of work by SDA members, Materialities: Contemporary Textile Arts has made quite a splash! For images of the show, a listing of award winners, and general information -- including how to purchase the show catalog, follow this link.

Also, Fiber Art Now's Excellence in Fibers exhibition winners have been announced. See the list here.

If you haven't already, I highly recommend you check out the websites of the exhibitors from these two landmark shows. Their work underlines that the cutting edge of fiber-related work being made today is sometimes beautiful, sometimes challenging, and always thought-provoking.
