Linda Finkelstein will be exhibiting her work in Barre beginning this month. Linda has explored working with "eco mediums" using eucalyptus, indigo, and rust since moving to Vermont three and a half years ago. The processes of rusting and dyeing with eucalyptus have been timely, providing a sense of grounding and a palette of calm that have been very helpful in Linda's transition to a new state.

Linda is also a photographer, digitally superimposing and manipulating colors to create what she calls "Transformations" that are then further changed using drawing media. Some of these images are "transformations" of her eco-work. There will be about 18 eco-works and 10 transformations on exhibit to enjoy.
Elizabeth Fram's work is featured in the Winter 2018 issue of Art Quilting Studio. Copies will be on newsstands December 1st, 2017. Read the feature in its entirety.
